Dr. Mary Gilchrist - On Ancient Egypt and Modern Disease

There are some incredible people and minds in the public health sector who are devoted both regionally and beyond in helping populations prepare for health emergencies and early detection of things like avian influenza. Dr. Mary Gilchrist in addition to being influential in her home state of Iowa, was also a CNN expert during the anthrax attacks of 2001 in the U.S.. In this video, Dr. Gilchrist talks about her recent trip to Egypt, and how ancient Egypt is relevant to contemporary disease research.
